A haircut from Peter was so much more than a haircut. For one short hour you could wander with Peter from advice on treating pests in city gardens, to the image of his grandchildren running happily in Sicily to following the discoveries made by the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva. He was special and will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Peter's extensive circle of family and friends. I knew Peter for 35 years, as not only a customer but also a friend. We spoke of many things, and it was clear that he was a proud father and grandfather, because he mentioned them at each visit. But if there was one passion outside of his family, it had to be his gardens. He would enthusiastically go into detail about planting, caring for and then harvesting his many plants and trees. He passed along so many pieces of advice to help me in my own garden, and now I have no expert to ask my questions. This is just one of the many reasons that I shall miss Peter greatly. Rest in peace, my friend.

your Husband/Father was a friend who just happened to be my barber for 50YEARS!! First met him at Casa Burrone in early 1970 and have never had haircuts from anyone--except when he left for Italy--and I was so happy that he came back--he provided political commentary ( and controversy) at our monthly sessions--tried to see him at Life Care in Stoneham before Christmas--he was--as Michael said at the funeral--always making me laugh--he is missed--

Pietro was my barber for several years. We had a very nice rapport and he spoke often of his visits to Italy and his garden there. I will miss his professional service as well as his warm humanity.

Dear Galluzzo Family: The Geary Family sends our deepest condolences. I was a client and friend of Peter for over 20 years. But, Peter was more than just my Barber, he became a close friend to our family as he also knew my wife Maureen and he entertained our two daughters Julia & Maria every time they accompanied me to his salon. Peter also formed a dinner group of his clients and friends and coordinated many delightful dinners at the best Italian restaurants around Boston where he was known and revered by the proprietors. We will always miss his good humor and his stories about his trips back to Italy and his golden days in his garden. We will always remember and miss him dearly. Sincerely, Bill Geary

Riposa in Pace. Love you.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news about Peter - Pietro. My husband and I were 2 of his longest customers my having found him on Cambridge Street in 1970. Through the years he cut not only our hair but our children's when they were little. When we moved to the mid-west, we would come back for a trim several times a year as no one could ever match his skills. I will miss his smiling face and his wonderful stories about his beloved Italy. My prayers are with all of you - he will be missed by all.
