I was Melissa's 6th grade teacher and she was an incredible kid -- bright, confident, happy and kind to everyone. For an 11 year old she was wise beyond her years and she positively added so well to the dynamic of the entire class. I was sorry to learn of Mr. Casella's passing. My sympathies are with the entire Casella family. Please allow your great memories to comfort all of you at this time.
