, MA,
Nana was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. All of whom she adored. She was a kind and generous woman who will be greatly missed.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Charlie, Ann and the entire McDonough family. I have so many lovely memories of time spent with your mom. It's never easy to lose a parent but what an incredible full life that she had. I hope that her now being at peace and with your dad brings some comfort to you in this difficult time. So long Nana McDonough - God bless and peaceful journeys to you. Hugs, Rosie

Growing up across from Rita and Charlie was a privilege. Charlie loved his wife more than anything.. and toward the end of her life rita would LIGHT UP when she was with her great grandchildren. If she went one week without hearing from her granddaughter she would call and check in on her great granddaughter. Her love for her entire family was so strong. I will always remember growing up on gretter rd while our mothers and the generation before them sat on Mrs Spencer’s porch gabbing and talking about life while we played in the yard. There was no stronger bond that the gretter rd family. I will always feel blessed to have grown up with so much love around us and knowing we had 2 generations of strong maternal love that preceded us. Rita, you are finally at peace surrounded by Charlie Patrick Quinn and sue. We will miss you down here, but we know you’re where you’re meant to be with the people that always loved you the most. Please give everyone up there our love. We will hold your memory close down here.

Three grandchildren? Typo! Nana had seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that she adored. Patrick, Owen, Colleen, Leanne, Joshua, Lauren, Spence, Quiten, Jameson, Olivia: you were the light of your Nana’s life. She loved you endlessly. Hell, she was everyone’s Nana! She always treated me with love and respect. She remembered the important things. Just like her daughter Sue was everyone’s extra-mom. Heaven keeps gaining those McDonough angels, leaving many voids here on earth - but they are with us always. May their memory be eternal.
