Devastated on hearing the very sad news of the death of Sean. A Legend, shy, quiet, but a passion and talent for music and culture. I know I was one of the first people to meet him in Boston on arrival from Ireland some years ago, He had the pen and paper on hand for names, number & networking. He did amazing work. He never gave up. He will be greatly missed by the huge Boston Community. Sincerest condolences to his son sean, his extended family in Boston & Galway . May his gentle soul Rest in Peace. He brought joy to our family and we are forever grateful for the time he spent with us on our last trip "home" to Connemara. This must be Shaun of the famous Irish Christmas Cakes. I had so hoped to find one this year on my holiday trip to Boston. However, I will think of him when I bake one of what must be his exacting recipe for “cáca Nollag” as set out on The Irish Heritage Cookbook by Margaret Johnson. Though I am a stranger, I am glad to share Galway heritage with this fine Irish-American. R.I.P.
