Dear Pat, Joyce and Cheryl, Arthur was a hero to me. We went to Boston State College together, and worked together at Children's Hospital. Unfortunately, miles and years had separated us but it was my privilege to have reconnected with him recently. Arthur took a huge professional risk and hired me at Children's and I shall be forever grateful to him. May your grief be lessened by the knowledge that Arthur was widely loved

To Art's family, so sorry to hear of Art's passing. I was an HR colleague of Art's for many years, working in other healthcare organizations. More recently we met during the past few years to discuss our teaching experiences. I could always rely on Art for the unvarnished truth about people, HR challenges and teaching issues. He was a genuine, caring professional. May he rest in peace. Dave DeJesus

Dear Pat and family. It is so sad to hear the passing of one of the finest people one could ever hope to meet. I am proud that Art considered me a friend. I met Art about 35 years ago as a colleague teaching at Lesley College. Over the years we became friends, especially the last decade or so. Art was a mentor, a friend, and someone who was always willing to help or shed light on a thorny issue. Illl miss our lunches, occasional dinners, and weekly phone calls where we discussed teaching, the world situation and history, especially WW2 history. Rest in peace my dear friend. Ron

To me, Arthur was the grown up cousin.Yet as a child, he would always take time with me. He often spoke about music. He and Richie both played the guitars and when I visited i oten plucked a bit at rhe strings. I remember not wanting to play my trumpet in front of house company. I remember as I came and sat down beside me don't know what he said except I didn't mind playing afterwardsI remember. being comforted I was just a boy in the fourth grade, I think, good memories! I have an ear condition that does not allow me to drive at times and I apologize for not making it but Monday was tough, I'm coming out of it today. I'm so sorry I couldn't make it

I had the pleasure of having Art for a professor at Suffolk. He was a wonderful, kind man and made a large impact on me, both personally and professionally. Please accept my sincere condolences. I will always remember him fondly.
