While we didn't have the pleasure of being with Cousin "Greta" in person, we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her on the telephone...connecting with her on a genealogical basis and our mutual fondness for animals...especially our feline friends. She was a remarkable person with an interesting and diverse life. Her stories of her beloved "Hop-A-Long" always made us smile. We were saddened to learn of her death via an internet search, as we'd been unable to reach her through Eileen Bradley (a care-giver who had also passed away this year) to inform "Greta" of the passing of our father, Major Johnson, who died on August 12, 2022. We are saddened at the loss of these eldest members of our family. Rest In Peace together dear ones.
