Spent many years with John in the Azure English office and co taught with him for several years. A really nice guy, a better friend. And boy did we laugh and laugh! I still use some of his one liners, and of course, always give attribution. I was selfishly sad when he went to administration, as John was just someone I enjoyed being around. Many great memories of a good man.My deepest sympathy to all of you who loved him. Marvin Gans

Mr. Whiton was a lovely, and kind person. I always enjoyed seeing him doing his walks at night and our little chats. He will be greatly missed. Kathy O’Dea

It’s with my deepest sadness but also my highest regards for Dick Whiton that I send my most sincere condolences to Marsha and the Whiton Family. It’s hard to have ever met or interacted with Dick Whiton and not realize what a truly kind and gracious man he was. I consider myself lucky to have known both him and his family. He truly left lasting memories of love and friendship in this word. May he Rest In Peace on a job well done. May his family take true comfort in his love and lifetime commitment them all. Sincerely James Hallahan

We knew Mr. Whiton as Adam's Dad, Reese's Grandfather, and a wonderful teacher. He shared on his great intelligence, humor, and kindness with all who knew him. We are so sorry for the loss of a great man and will remember him telling jokes while putting up decorations for Reese's birthday party, showing us a plane he spotted in the sky, and sharing his joy in his family with us. Our thoughts are with the family.
