“Reenie” was just the best. Can you imagine all of the things she did for us kids at St Theresa of Avila parish—chaperoning our ski trips, dances, being a part of our lives? She always had a smile but you certainly did not want to be caught opening that hotel room door after curfew. She treated all of us like we were her own and now as a mom, I realize what a gift she gave us all for life. So many happy memories. Thank you to the Russo kids for sharing her with us. So sorry for her loss. Irene Russo was a great lady whose lessons will live on with all of us.

My first thought of Mrs. Russo is St. Theresa’s CYO. She was there when many of us learned to ski for the first time, she was a fixture at the annual variety shows, and the subsequent after parties. I will always remember her beautiful smile. We are all better off because she was there. Rest in peace Mrs. Russo. My condolences to the Russo family.
