Carol, I was very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I have fond memories of your parents many moons ago. My father is being buried on Friday . He spoke of your Dad taking up German and thought that was awesome. He loved making you laugh too. God bless your father and thank you to you and your husband for all the kindnesses you showed mine over the years.

Carol, Michael and your family, please accept my prayers and thoughts on the passing of your father. He was wonderful father and friend to everyone. Every time I saw him with your sister Rita he always remembered me and greeted me with a smile. He is now with your mother and watching over all of you.

I had the good fortune to coach Mr. Casey's sons in CYO basketball. I made an ocean of mistakes while coaching but learned from one of the most dignified, aristocratic, and classiest of men. He showed a young guy how to conduct himself. It is sad to see Mr. Casey and my dear neighbor Jack Fahey passing at the same time. My condolences to John, Tim, and Paul, the best of kids. Me thinks Jack and Mr. Casey are in heaven smiling and sharing stories with their familes. The best of us have passed on to a better place.

I have known Jack since 1976, when he was my District Manager at Rubbermaid and hired me straight out of Bentley College. Jack was a great mentor to me and he also became a good friend. Though we went our separate ways, we always kept in touch through an occasional phone call or email. He always talked about how proud he was of his family. He and Rita are in my prayers. Jack lived a full life.

Carol, Mike and the entire Casey family, our deepest condolences. Mr. Casey was a true Catholic gentleman. Loved to see him out for dinner at the Corrib, always a smile and a kind word. Truly a wonderful man. We are in Florida and will offer Mass and communion for him this Sunday. God bless Greg and Kathy Haugh

I never met Mr. Casey, but when I wrote about his daughter Carol for the West Roxbury Historical Society, he contacted me and we spoke at length many times. What a wonderful person.
