To Big Ed - you were one of my best and longest lasting friends. We met in'82 when I ran for office and I went door to door trying to meet voters. Your home was the last on route because it had started to rain. You came out to meet me because you said that if I was stupid enough to come to your home in the rain, the least you could do was to come out to meet me. From there, you were Mr. Everything in the campaign and the only one to shed a tear when I lost. After that, we did everything together, from going fishing whenever we could, to watching the Patriots every Sunday and dozens of other things. Most of those things have slipped over recent years, but you'll always be in my memory and my heart. Sleep well, my friend
