Uncle Claudius will remain, and always have a special place in our hearts. I have always treasured the cufflinks he gave my mom (his sister) that she gave me many years ago and have worn so proudly on many special occasion and will continue to do so. I was blessed to have shared his last weeks through text messages and pic's, thank you Richard. I will always remember a story that was told to me many many years ago from my grandmother, one day a couple of Jehovah Witnesses had come to the door When Uncle Claud answered they asked him if they could come in and talk to him about God. Uncle Claud welcomed them in and went to change. He returned with his collar and jacket on, sat down and said what would you like to know. That must have been a site to see, and that story will always remain with me. Richard our thoughts and prayers are with you and he was truly Blessed to have had you in his life. John J. Pellerin

There was so much more I wished to learn from you. We had a lot in common, such as being Educators, our love of music, and our Battles with Parkinson's. Thank you Richard for taking care of Uncle Claude and "Gam."

We cannot thank the Gormley Funeral Home enough for the excellent and compassionate care they bought to us and our beloved at this time of grief. Father Claude was a unique individual who loved religious things such as Reliquaries and other sacred antiques. But on the other end of the spectrum he loved boardgames, card games and toys that you can build things with. In addition to having had a career as a priest and chaplain, he was an excellent organist and choir Director. His choirs were known for their excellence and self-discipline. He had many hobbies such as genealogy and doing needlework and crochet. Always had something to keep himself occupied. We know that he is in the glory of heaven on the other side of the veil, basking in the eternal love of God and the communion of saints.
