Bill, or as i called him Tio, (uncle in spanish), was a good kind man, we shared rooting for the Buffalo Bills, and will be missed!

Praying for peace and ease of minds and hearts for Bill's family. I am so grateful for having the pleasure of knowing Bill. Will sorely miss his keen insight on things and of course his dry humor. A round of golf with he and Ted D. was more entertaining to watch than to play. God speed Bill. You will be missed.

Uncle Bill I don't even know where to begin. I'm so sorry that we missed your service, we will forever miss you. We all have such great stories of you, auntie sister, and our mom just going out for pizza or just hanging around. The memories and stories will be told for years to come Say hi to mom and auntie sister for us, and make sure you tell them all about us and mom's grandkids xoxoxo

Dear Family of William Sheehan, May God bless Bill and all of you as you continue to grieve! Bill was a holy and honorable presence in the Saint John Parish community and represented to us the ideal of devotion to Christ, the Church, and his beloved wife, relatives and community. Last year Bill opened his heart to the at-risk children of Lawrence through Lawrence Catholic Academy, within Saint Patrick Parish of Lawrence. As the brother and sister-in-law of Saint Patrick's pastor, Father Paul O'Brien, we will never forget his empathy for these children's strife, struggles, and aspirations for working towards a better future for themselves and their families. To us, Bill will remain our model of Christian charity, goodness and integrity. He showed such generosity of spirit and treasure towards vulnerable children; their pain and challenges seemed to touch him especially deeply. Many seemed to regard the future of these children with cautious optimism; he embraced and showed confidence in their promise. May Bill's soul continue to grace you, his beloved family; all the children his gifts will be helping for generations to come; and all those of us who came to know him both through his many decades here in Wellesley and in his earliest days of life! Love, Marlene and Duncan O'Brien

Very sorry to only be learning now of Bill's passing. I got to know Bill when documenting his father's legacy with the BPD 10 years ago, and we kept in touch. He was so caring to Mary in her difficult days, and rightly proud of all his family. Such a good man, and the last of his generation. My condolences to his many nieces and nephews.
