Thinking of so many fond memories of Mrs. O'Brien. She really was one in a million. Loved her family, always made every other kid in West Roxbury and beyond feel like family too. I can hear her now, stopping in the street, rolling down the window (forget the traffic behind her!), to ask how my folks were, how's school, then my kids, etc.... she was always on her way to something but had that big heart and always had time to stop and say hello. Mr's O'Brien had a great sense of humor, was kind, had deep faith and lead a great life. We'll miss her and honored to have known her. Love, Patti.

Our deepest sympathy to all of our cousins and relatives on the passing of Aunt Barbara. It is unfortunate that our family cannot attend her services with you. I will hold a special memory in my heart of the moment mom and Barbara embraced each other this past May with the biggest hug. It was a very emotional moment I will never forget. That same day, Aunt Barbara still had that famous laugh we always loved to hear! We will miss her dearly. Fred, Michelle, Ali & Brad Wharton

Barbara was truly a precious gift to all. She was a wonderful and inspiring teacher for many years. She loved the children and they loved her. Her smiling face and pleasant manner will always be remembered as will her strong faith and trust in God.

Our most sincere sympathy to all the O'Brien/Cronin family. Barbara was an amazing and faithful volunteer to Fr. Edward McDonough's Healing Ministry at Mission church. May God comfort you at this time of grief. May Barbara's soul rest in peace. Fr. Robert Lennon C.Ss.R
