So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Brought back a lot of good memories of life at Community Boating in the 1970s. Steve was a great boss and a great friend. He will be missed.

Steve was a role model to so many of us at CBI in the 1970s. The impact of working at Community Boating changed our lives for the better. Steve was a big part of that. So sad that he is gone, but he has left a legacy that will last generations.

There are people, rare people, who become the pillar of a community. Steve was that person at Community Boating. He impacted so many young lives in a positive way. He guided through example. He worked hard and, in stressful sailing situations, was unflappable. His legacy lives on in all of us. Rest easy, Steve. You did good.

So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Though it's been a very long time since teen years at CBI, I will always remember Steve the dockmaster with fondness. Hugs and condolences to his family.
