My deepest sympathies on the loss of Mrs. McLaughlin. Whenever I saw her I knew I would be greeted with the biggest smile and just the kindest conversation. She truly was an angel on earth. She lived her life through her faith. I feel honored to have known her and your family whom she adored. May you all find deep comfort on the lives she has touched and a life well lived. She truly loved you all. Kristen O’Connor

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. McLaughlin's passing. She was the most sweetest and wonderful woman I've ever met always smiling. Having her for 2nd grade CCD preparing me for Holy Communion was very wonderful. She was a wonderful teacher and person. My sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the entire McLaughlin Family. May she rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathy to Frank, the McLaughlin family and all the relatives and friends of Clare. We were very fortunate to have met Clare at Saint John's Parish. Clare was an inspiration to all. May we never forget the angel who walked amongst us doing good works and spreading faith, goodness and kindness and who is now receiving her Eternal Reward.

Dear Frank and Family, We basked in Clare's presence. She exuded such warmth and caring as well as deep spirituality and knowledge. Such a very special woman, she will leave a big hole. We always enjoyed seeing her and interacting with her. Rest in Peace with Dr Jesus, dear, dear Clare who set such a powerful example of God's Love. Please help her family through this difficult time, especially Frank and our neighbor Kathy.

Dear Frank and family, please accept my condolences on Clare's death. I only met her once, but her obituary testifies to a full and rich life, almost bewildering in its energy. Schools, library work, parish activities, organizing video groups, and of course bringing up your large family. I was particularly taken by the account of her courtship by Frank and by her careful and loving selection of books to give the children in her life. She emerges as a pillar of family as well as of church and community. May her memory be for a blessing.

Claire was true model of womanhood, an Irish/American princess.

Dear McLaughlin family, I certainly don't need to tell you what a wonderful, delightful woman Mrs McLaughlin was. I grew up on Landseer St, and knew her through the neighborhood, St. Theresa's and our mutual friend Diane Stelfox. She is surely brightening Heaven now. She was a true treasure. God bless you all.

Dear Mr. McLaughlin and all who miss Clare, I send my deepest sympathies to you all. What a marvelous tribute and a very moving service. I remember being welcomed so often with our Maxfield Street neighbors to gatherings at your home. Clare was always a cheerful voice, with Frank providing so many learning moments. I recall making sandwiches for Rosie's Place; and a wonderful Christmas gathering. We miss you! -- Sara Hamlen
