We are truly very sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter Audrey. With heartfelt love and sympathy we respectfully wish you, Sally & Fred and your family, peace in this time of sorrow. What a lovely tribute to her you gave her. Even though we did not know her personally, the words that you wrote describing her life tells it all. Audrey would be very proud. She is leaving behind a wonderful loving family who was always there for her. We love you Sally & Fred

A you were a friend for over 37 years, an office mate, Boston house mate, vacation buddy, “dinner group” mainstay and family. I will miss our talks, texts, pet pics and silliness. You were a class act. Life will be dimmer without you. Thank you for shining your light on us. Xo Love you.

Dear Uncle Freddie , Aunt Sally, Adrienne, Sallyann, and Debbie, My thoughts and prayers will include you all as you grieve the loss of Audrey. I'll never forget the first time I ever flew on an airplane and it was to go to Disneyland with all of you, my parents and my sister Marybeth. I still have fond memories of that trip. I knew Audrey suffered from RA as my Mom would tell me that. My Mom and dad ( Tom and Loretta Nelligan) loved Fred, Sally and the girls. My deepest condolences to the Nelligan family . Audrey touched my life in remarkable ways. Only meeting her in the past few years, I was fortunate to have shared meals, some time out, and the joyful dog sitting of Mistaya and Roux. Her generosity was always on display. And her light will continue to shine in all of us that were fortunate to have had her cross our path. Sending sincere condolences

Dear Nelligan family, please accept our heartfelt condolences on Audrey's passing. We have known Audrey for more than thirty years through my sister, Jan. We had holidays and vacations together, made all the more special because Audrey was with us. We loved her wit, vibrant personality and her smile could light up a room! We were so glad to be able to spend time with her this past fall. She will remain in our families hearts forever as she is family! Rest peacefully A!! With love from the Hawrylo's (Jill, Ken, Michele, Jeff, Ryan) and families

A, I don't even know where to begin... I miss you already. Although, you were my aunt's best friend you became a friend of mine as I grew older. As a kid, I couldn't wait to come to the house in Randolph to visit you and Heidi. I have always admired your sassy wit and rebel style, always black, always bling. I will miss our chats and our texts about our pups, nail polish, our fave food and being a tough woman! You were the ultimate tough woman. I will forever look back to our conversations for your wisdom and advice. Your generosity is unmatched and I will honor you by trying to be as generous, sending a gift here and there from Niemans and spoiling myself once in a while because you taught me that I deserve it! Xxoo

It was instant connection and friendship!! You were that way with me and with all - A warm, loving, giving, supportive, encouraging friend!! Always bringing the sense of humor!! And always with a $100 Bill, “just in case as your Dad told you.” Every birthday, Christmas, celebration, thank you notes- you always took the TIME! We have lost poor A far too soon. She was dealt a pretty bad hand in life yet powered through with much more strength and grace than most of us could ever muster. Never complain, never whine, never woe-is-me. Just mash down on the gas pedal and speed forward with life. She taught us all so much with the way she lived her life. Jan and I were always good tippers in restaurants but A taught us to really up our game! I never was with A when she didn’t pay a compliment to a total stranger. “I love your shoes, necklace, earrings, (put anything else here) honey”. She was always looking to make everyone else feels better or to make someone’s day with a tiny, kind gesture. She never failed once with a hand written thank you note....,,she was just the most thoughtful person I’ve ever met. Of course, after meeting Sally and Fred it became obvious how that happened. My heart aches for them, her sisters, and all the rest of her family and friends. But our dear A is no longer in daily pain and is surely in a warm, loving place now. While it’s OK to feel sad for ourselves and each other, we must feel good that Audrey is finally at peace. Love to all the Nelligans. Mike

As a life-long friend of Jan Stankiewicz McCarthy from our school days in Freehold, NJ, I was fortunate to get to know Audrey during my visits to Massachusetts and Florida, and Audrey's visits to NJ. She always had a big smile and something sweet to say in greeting. And, she wrote the loveliest, kindest notes. I admired her resilience and positive disposition in dealing with chronic illness. The world will miss her kind and generous soul. My deepest condolences on the loss of your daughter, sister, and friend.

Dear Audrey, You were a true inspiration and one of the most generous friends I have had the pleasure of knowing. You never ever forgot a holiday gift for us whether it was a hurricane or any sort of emergency. I also know that you are in a much better place looking down on friends and people that adored you and they will always miss you dearly. Words cannot describe the kind of person you were and we love you with all our hearts. RIP Audrey Nelligan Cheers, Sandy Singh

My dear friend Aud, the loss of your presence is so heavy right now on my heart but I know you are at peace which is what brings me comfort during this difficult time. I do not know where to begin as words can not describe the significance you had in my life and in the lives of so many. I will always cherish all the advice you gave me through our years of working together. But most importantly you were there with me when I had to move Kristina into college at St Pete and introduced us to Jan. You all became her Florida family which included Eric when he moved down there. I can not tell you as a mother how grateful I will always be for you knowing you were there for my baby girl when I was 1,500 miles away. I close my eyes and smile & laugh at our countless adventures and your wild spirit that always made a night out fun & rememberable. Your love for the city (NYC, South Beach), amazing shoes, bling bling, luxurious bags and the finer things in life was also balanced with a great find at Homegoods which we would dicuss & compare notes on the amazing things we found there. Your eloquence, class and presence will never be matched as you were truly a precious gem! To the Nelligan Family, thank you for giving us the gift of Aud in our lives - I loved her like family and am blessed to have been able to be a part of her life as well. Aud will forever be missed but never forgotten as the stories will stay alive in our hearts & minds forever
