I met Laura several years ago at a Wednesday night meeting. She was a welcoming and grounding presence, wise and generous. Whenever I arrived and saw Laura there, I was always instantly grateful that I would get to hear her share her thoughts and offer support. When she wasn't there, I noticed. I can't tell you how saddened I am that she is no longer with us, with her family. I will truly miss her grace and courage. My heart goes out to her husband and daughters. Peace.

I am heartbroken at the loss of Laura. She was a mentor to me as leader of Friends of the Arts at Boston Latin School and kindly talked me through several events. I use notes she wrote to this day. Even better was that I met her again at Yoga for You in Dedham. We shared a love of 26 and 2. I am very grateful that I got to know her and experience her wisdom, humor and kindness.

To all the Gallogly's - We were so saddened to hear of Laura's passing. She was an incredible woman. We had the privilege of working with her for many, many years at FOA. Our hearts especially go out to her daughters. Always remember the strength, love, guidance and dedication you received from your Mom - this you can carry with you always.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lived with Laura in the Gano Street house after Brown. The crazy co-op with great meals and huge hearts and laughter. Laura was so light and funny snd test so dedicated to her interests and politics. I was so sad to read of her death in the Brown Alumni Monthly.

I knew Laura as an undergraduate music student at Brown. She was a terrific pianist and musician, but more importantly, she was incredibly warm, kind, smart, generous, and funny. I feel privileged to have gotten to know her a little bit all those years ago. Please accept my deep condolences for your loss.

David - Joanne and I are so sad to hear about Laura's passing much too young. She was a wonderful person and mother with a soft-spoken nature that will be missed. I wish all your cousins could be with you and your daughters this week to express our condolences in person. May she RIP.

Dear Dave, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of dear Laura. She was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I loved her quiet and gentle way of speaking. She was so articulate and knowledgable about so many things. She was also one of the kindest women I know - she accompanied me without judgment when I was learning to sing some difficult pieces. I know she helped many people - sometimes just by her beautiful presence. This is such a devastating loss for your lovely family. You all will be in my prayers. Annie
