So sorry to hear of her passing. She was a key member of our staff at the McKinley Vocational High School. She was patient with our students and parents, which was not easy at times. Mary looked out for and supported every single staff member! She was beloved by all. She helped me personally at the start of my career and was often my go to person with questions. She loved her family and was fiercely proud of them. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Dear Bavis Family, our prayers for you to help you through this sad time. Your mom was a strong, resilient, fun, friendly, wonderful woman. We love her for taking our mom, Theresa McBrien, under her wing when we moved to Roslindale, and including her as part of the mom gang with Bunny, Ann, and Jean. Your mom kept an eye out for all the kids on the hill. She was a proud and loving mom to all of you and her grandchildren. Rest in peace.

My heart is filled with so much sadness on the passing of this angel on earth. I will never forget watching CM Hockey sitting next to Mrs Bavis. She was just the sweetest person and adored her husband and children. She had such a beautiful outlook on life. I feel so blessed to have know her. My sincerest and most heartfelt condolences to your entire family. You are all in my prayers. May you all find comfort in the wonderful memories of the beautiful person.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mary was my Godmother. She & my mom (Mary O'Toole Glynn) were best friends and kept in touch sporadically over the years. The last time we spoke was when my mom passed in 2017. I pray her passing was peaceful.
