Barbara was the first friend I made in Roslindale when I moved here in eighth grade. I remember sleepovers at her house and eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at the MacGregor ‘s kitchen table and laughing the time away. We had a lot of fun back then and she introduced me to the Schoolyard crew, some who are my dear friends to this day. I am so grateful to her for that. I’m so sorry I missed seeing this when it happened as I would have been there at her Mass. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on your loss of Barbara. Mary Ellen Sheerin (Mel) Roslindale. MA
