My deepest condolences to the Dowd family. I met Mike about 10 years ago in a Vietnam support group. Most of us were retired cops. Mike was one of a kind and would make us laugh at his many stories. We will miss him terribly. RIP Mike Mission Accomplished

Dear Terry and family, I have worked at the Avon VFW Post for a long time as a bartender and know Mike well. We have laughed and butt heads numerous times, but always ended up with a handshake or a hug with him saying "no hard feelings, you know I love you" LOL We had numerous chats car side, when I would pull into work and he would be reading his Sunday paper in his car in the parking lot, again LOL I loved his BPD stories. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. RIP Mike

I knew Mike from the BPD. Never worked together, but were Union Reps together. He was always a joy to be around. A sheep in wolf's clothing is my memory. A good and decent man. WE marched in the Geo. H W Bush Inaugural Parade in Washington together, with Mike bearing the standard. He is in my opinion the most memorable good guy who served in Washington gone home to the Father in a long while. Rest In Peace my friend. You are missed.

I was Paul’s friend and professor at Curry College. We had many lunches together. As brother police officer we connected. I want to express my heartfelt sympathies to Paul’s family. I will miss him very much. By the way, Paul spoke about you (Paula) frequently. God bless
