My thoughts and prayers are with all of Joanie’s family and friends. She always greeted me with her big smile. I have many fond memories of times spent with her and the family.

So very sorry to hear of Joanie's passing. She and my father, Cecil Collins, were first cousins, their mothers being MacFarlane sisters. I have very fond memories of Aunt Rose, and "the girls" during their summer visits to Margaree. They were American cousins, "dressed to the nines" and still with those wonderfully warm laughs and personalities.Such wonderful women! My deepest condolences to the extended family. Hugs from Nova Scotia.

Deepest condolences from Upper Margaree. We have fond memories of her trips to Margaree in the summer. She was a lovely lady. May she Rest In Peace.

We were very sorry to hear about your loss of Joan. My father, Gerald, always really enjoyed it when Joanie and Barbara came to Cape Breton on holidays. I remember them as being such lovely women, full of fun, very pleasant and very stylishly dressed. He always felt very connected to the Boston cousins. I’m sorry for your loss.
