My magical aunt! She brought magic to all our lives. Hope when there was none. Laughter when there were tears. She has lived a beautiful life & made the impossible possible. I always think of her as a young child spreading her magic fairy dust upon us all. Her beautiful childlike quality is actually asked of us in Scripture. She is a rare human being. No matter how bad things have ever been...her spirit has lifted us up & carried us along. It always will...because love never dies. Not ever.

Irene was one in a million , I had the great pleasure of working with Irene at the Ohrenberger School She was always willing to help out, a team player who loved working with the most difficult child. I always admired and was inspired by her devotion to her husband and family . Irene is looking down from above with her big beautiful smile .

My dearest Rene, your life was simply "cut too short". You were just too young and too beautiful to die so soon, yet here we are. You know how I feel about you. I need not embellish on how much you meant to me. You and I had a special relationship that I will cherish forever. I will now try to take comfort in the fact that you are back in the arms of the man you loved more than life itself, "Your Jimmy". Reunited once again with Mufta and Gaga, my Dad (Mac), my brothers, Paul and Greg, young Johnny, my Michael, Jackie and Donna and so many more. Rene, I am so grateful for all of the wonderful memories. The parties with family singing and dancing in your living room doorway. Late nights with some tonic. Of you with such radiant skin, always with a classy lip color and big Jimmys winks. You always made us kids feel noticed and special. Even as adults taking time to stop and give our hands a squeeze, saying we are beautiful and sharing a smile. There is such a great legacy of loved ones who Rene will continue to live on through and who will miss her dearly. I'm thinking of her up there with the fam- reunited with big Jimmy and watching over us all...maybe even planning some pranks with Uncle Paul for little Jimmy.
