I am sooo very sorry to hear the news of Jimmy's passing. I have great memories of us playing Hockey on Miami Ave. or just sitting on the wall with him. Working with Jimmy through Parkway Friends was the best time of my life, as group we did a lot. Taking the group to dance class on a Saturday morning or going bowling, dances at BU once a month. I will always remember him. i always remember his birthday because it's Oct 12th. i always use to tell i am older than him by a few months. Covid-19 has done a job on many people in this country. Working at a Hospital i have seen what it did to Patients as well as Staff. Knowing he is back with Mom, Dad and Annmarie is wonderful feeling, he can Drive with your Dad again like he did when he was younger. I remember him jumping in the car when Sal got home from work. he would drive up the hill with him. I will always remember his smile. Andy Kurk

Karin and family, Jimmy was full of fun and all the girls always liked him and my son was very jealous that Jimmy was so popular with the dances at the dances. David was deeply saddened by the news. It is a deep sorrow to lose one of the truly exceptional people in life. They are God’s precious people and it’s a loss we all hoped we never have to endure. God bless you. Rest in peace Kathy

I did not know Jimmy, but am very sad to hear about his passing. I came to this site because I googled his name today, and I googled his name because I purchased one of his artworks many years ago from It's A Gift (in Union Square, I think). It is pencil and crayon and some collage and every time I look at it I admire it, and I thought "I wonder if I can learn more about the artist?" It is Jimmy and I am happy to read the other comments and to know he participated in the arts program as well makes me think he was beloved and led a happy life. Rest Peacefully.
