Judi was one of my closest friends in junior high school and high school, and beyond. We had so much fun together growing up in Bethesda, Maryland. She was smart as a whip, vivacious, funny, sweet and beautiful. And the only one I knew who was reading Crime and Punishment in ninth grade. Judi's dad was a Professor of History I believe and her mother a Nursing Supervisor at Sibley Hospital, if I remember correctly. And little sister Patty was a darling. A beautiful family. The family included me on a visit to Greenbrier to see Judi at boarding school and for a summer vacation week at Nags head Beach. We kept up through college and early marriages. I caught up with Judi in Boston only once later in life, when we were adults with teenagers and husbands. We had a nice visit and she showed me the Harbour area. I wish we had kept in touch more. I was at the Cape in 2010, and could have looked her up. You think someone will always be there, but they won't. I see Judi's picture with a yellow blouse. One of her favorite colors. Blessings to the family for your profound loss.
