CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

I had the honor of meeting Mr. George my final, ageout season of the Boston Crusaders (2019). Even though I had never truly met him, he was one of several alumni who donated towards making my age out season doable financially. I was fortunate enough to meet him after he agreed to donate towards my season and I was so overcome with gratitude towards him. For him to donate to some random college student from Louisiana on a whim was truly incredible and speaks volumes to his character. I am very sad to hear of his passing and wish the very best to his loved ones. We lost a Giant today and I will be grateful for his assistance for the rest of my days. Much love.

My condolences to George's family. I knew George from St Peter's Band & the Crusaders. We hung around together as teenagers in Dorchester. Rest in Peace. Goodbye.

I always thought of George as Peter and Lee's little brother who loved reading road maps on family trips. It is obvious he grew not only to be a beloved family member, but a dedicated friend a highly thought of and respected coworker and a generous person who was always there to help some one in need. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers..Blessings Richard and Donna Butler

So very sad to hear of George’s passing. He will be missed at all of the Boston Crusader events and was a steadfast and kind alumni. He had a quirky sense of humor and always made me smile. Rest now giant.

Sorry to hear of Gorge’s passing. I’ve know George since the 80’s when he worked at Adcole Corp. an we later hitched up when we worked together at Tektronix in North Billerica. We occasionally got together for lunch after I retired and George was working at Intertek.I only heard of his passing from a previous co-worker and last communicated with him in early March. We had tentatively set a lunch date following the Panadamic but that never materialized. I never had met any of his family but I want to express my sincere condolences to all as George was a friend for many years. He will be missed.
