Nana, I will miss you dearly. Thank you for all your love and being there for me when Mom and Steve passed. You lived a long life and I am happy that I was able to grant your wishes of staying home. I will miss all your stories, jokes and all our little trips. I know Mom, Steve, Johnny, Billy, John, Madeline and Ellen are with you now. We love you always! Jennifer, Rusty, Tyler and Katelyn

I can hear NANA saying” Don’t forget to smell the Roses “. She would say it and write in the notes we shared over the years . She had saved the letters I wrote to her and one day she mailed a pile back for me to enjoy later. I saved hers as well . We enjoyed summers together while I was growing up and I got a lot of life experience . I treasure learning how to navigate a city without a car, to enjoy the little things , enjoy nature especially birds, flowers and the ocean. She was glad I married a man named John. Many times I asked her the secret to longevity and she would include keeping things simple, read, try new things and stay away from people who complain too much . Knowing Nana I would say walking , coffee and chocolate and banana bread . I will miss her and I wish the whole family peace , happiness and don’t forget to smell the Roses. Love and respect Debby Williams Russic
