Mary Ellen is one of the bravest women I have ever known. My dear sister-in-law was such a warm loving and courageous person even though she battled her terrible disease for years she never complained and was a happy go lucky person. I admired her strength thru the years of her battle. We pray that our Lord will ease her family's grief in this time of sorrow. God bless her.

My memories of Mary Ellen span almost seven decades, and they will bring warmth and comfort to my heart, and I hope to many others, every time she is thought of. Her infectious smile, her impish nature, her devotion to family; her courage, determination and no nonsense approach to even the most difficult obstacles; her excitement to carry on so skillfully and joyfully a long Italian family tradition of gardening, cooking, knitting and sewing; her generosity of spirit, always thinking of others; her gift of friendship and her deep appreciation of those many who befriended her. It's impossible to even begin to list all the wonderful things I will miss now that she is gone, and it is with infinite sadness that I mourn her passing. Goodbye sweet cousin and friend...

Renee: I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her as being a fun, out going, lovely lady that I always enjoyed talking to. Shannon and Lyndsey worked at Bubbling Brook with your mom and loved her! I will always remember bringing you girls to Sunny Rock Farm when you were all so young. It was a beautiful fall day and you girls had so much fun climbing up on the bales of hay, playing in the rows of pumpkins and exploring the country store! With our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Love Valerie McGuire, Shannon McGuire Recco and Lyndsey McGuire.
