My wife Carol and I have known John and Elayne shorter than most of his friends, 39 years. Like most of his friends we have shared parties, sporting events; weddings, anniversary’s, trips, hospital visits and funerals. Many of us thought that John was our Best friend but he felt that all of his friends were his Best friends. No one was more loyal than John. He was the type of person that would laugh with you rather than at you. Last year when John was visiting us he was just sitting outside enjoying the weather. Carol asked John if he was alright, he responded, “I am just enjoying the moment” !Either, sitting, humming or reading John could easily be content in his moment, John famous quote he said to me many years ago was “ I not here for a long time, I am hear for a good time. A guy who loved Élyane, his relatives, friends , extremely proud of his son’s, daughter in law’s and grandchildren. John was the friend who’s time was to short, will be sadly missed, loved by all but had His Great Time!! Michael and Carol Larkin

Jon and Michael and to the entire Dunn family. Deb and I are extremely sorry at Johns passing. As you can see just by the tributes paid to him, he was loved by all he came into contact with. We are so proud to be considered friends for 40 years. I worked with John for close to 30 years. Our weekly get togethers were alway filled with laughter and good conversation. I still think about the many trips to Myrtle Beach and New Hampshire. John always had a smile on his face and brought laughter to the group. GOD Bless good friend. Love Deb and Lou Tarentino PS.
