So sorry to loose an old friend. We went to high school and college together and shared a love of fixing up old cars. For many years Kathy and I would meet Gerry and Lorraine for pizza at the Pleasant Cafe. Great times. We'll miss you Gerry.

So sorry for the loss of Gerry. He was an amazing and generous guy that helped so many. He was always there for everyone. I can only imagine the impact he must have had for hundreds of students he influenced over the years. We understand the need to limit the services, but at the same time want to express our thoughts for your family. Our thoughts are with you. Ken & Teresa Leary

I am so sorry to hear about Gerry. We worked together at BHS for years. He was a great guy, spoke Spanish and we would reminisce about his experience at Boston Latin. He loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren and spoke lovingly of them so often. Rest in peace Gerry. You made a difference. Susan

Lunenburg, MA,
Gerry was a true friend during my ten years teaching at Newton North. As Chairman of the Advisory Board, he would do anything to help in any way he could. Gerry and I also spent many Sundays together at the Amherst Classic Car Flea market and Car show. He was one of the first to make my son feel special and included growing up as one of the regular car enthusiasts. I also attended Professional Development with Gerry at UTI and can say he was always Professional and a complete gentleman everywhere we went. Lastly, I know Gerry's students had the utmost respect for him and he cared greatly for them. Thanks for everything you've done Gerry, you will be missed.
