I went to college with Dan in Cork, had our first jobs together in Cork, both emigrated to the USA and learned to fly which Dan loved so much to do. Deeply saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. While we did not have much contact over the last few years, Dan was a true friend with whom there was never a dull moment. Our deepest condolences to Dan's family here in Boston and in Ireland. What a gentleman - Dan first entertained for our family at our son Bryan’s Christening in 1998 and he was there again to help us celebrate at Bryan’s 21st last year 2019! He also photographed and video recorded construction projects for kennedy carpentry Inc. What an incredible legacy from music to photography and videos - such a talent that will be sorely missed. My condolences to the family. I did not know Dan well, but worked with him 2 or 3 years ago on a video for Dedham Cable TV about the history of Mother Brook in Dedham, and then again briefly on another video about repair work to the Mother Brook dam. I found him to be professional and pleasant to work with. He also gave me some advice for my own video work. I have not seen him since that time, and I am sorry that he has passed away.

I was greatly sadden to hear of the death of Dan. Having sharing a house with Dan in Westcourt Heights,I have fond memories of those good days. Dans band was then called New Dimensions. In those early days Dan could be heard playing his keyboards. My memories of Dan were of someone who loved life and always had a smile on his face It is many decades since i Have seen him. I know he is above tonight entertaining those who have gone before us
