I used to be a daily customer at Dunkin Donuts for many years since I moved to West Roxbury from in 2007. I hadn't been there in almost 2 years because I changed my life and diet and donuts were not on the menu for me anymore. I met someone there tonight to present a business opportunity and I walked up on a table full of flowers, which I thought odd. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what they were for. How awful! When I got inside there were candles and flowers everywhere along with Sharon's picture. I couldn't believe it! I remember Sharon as a master at her craft. She had that store running like a well oiled machine and was always so pleasant to talk to. Those flowers, candles and messages are a testament to the way her employees and customers felt about her. Everyone was just sort of standing around in shock. She definitely left her mark on this world and now there is a void. I told them I feel bad for the person who will manage that store now because they will have some pretty big shoes to fill. Sharon will be missed! She was a gem. My deepest sympathy to her family, friends and staff.

Sharon - The Monday AM Hockey guys will miss you. You were our "coffee lady". For 15 years you made sure the Monday coffee delivery made it to the locker room at Roche Arena by 6:45AM. Sharon touched more lives, than those that live a lifetime! Our community is heartbroken ! She was loved not only by her employees but was loved by everyone that knew her. The community of West Roxbury loved her. She loved her job and loved everyone that worked for her. You would see that each and every day you when you went to Dunkin Donuts on Spring Street. Her work ethic was top notch. She managed that store better than any other business or Manager I know. She was there for 20 years, that speaks for itself ! She loved her job, she loved her employees, she loved her community. Always had a friendly smile for everyone. There are people that can live to be 80 or 90 years old and be miserable that entire time. Sharon may not have lived that long, but her life was full of joy and happiness during the time she did live. And she touched everyone else's live around her. There are few people that have that quality ! She was overflowing with that quality. I believe those who love her, will see her again. All of us should be so lucky to have a friend like her, all of us should be so lucky to have a daughter like her, all of us should be so lucky to have a sister like her. I consider myself lucky to have known her. Where she is now, what a lucky place that is to have someone like her. She will be deeply missed but will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Sharon.
