My condolences to all your family. George was a wise and kind person who helped me so much after I was elected to the Governor’s Council. When ever I need advice and support he was there. I will greatly miss our talks and all the historical items he gave me, especially about my home town of Holyoke.

To the Cronin family, I wanted to express my condolences on the loss of George. He was a great friend of my father Ed and myself. He was instrumental in my attending Suffolk Law School. He was always helpful and enjoyed many happy moments when we would meet at the State House. God bless you all.

George Cronin was the face of the Executive Council. He was also it's essence in favorable terms. For nearly twenty years under multiple Governors and Lt. Governors, George was present every Wednesday in the Executive Council Chamber to the right of the presiding officer. He smoothly assisted, Pro Forma, in the process of applicants for a judgeship, Administrative Law Judges and Notary Public applications. George was never impressed with titles. He was impressed with tradition, precedents, and above all personal loyalty. All of these human expectations came to life every Wednesday in the Executive Council Chamber under George's guidance. George was a man of great rectitude, a loyal friend and a very special person. My condolences and prayers to George's family.

It is with great sadness and with much respect that I acknowledge Governor's Councillor Administrator George Cronin has passed on. He was in our statehouse since 1963. He was a very serious and dedicated individual. He will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of such a fine person. George was the consummate professional. He was always very helpful to me and all of us in the House Clerk's Office whenever new members of the House were to be qualified, whether it be the general election or special elections. We could always rely upon him to provide us with all of the information that we needed. I considered him a friend. I will miss him very much.
