Please accept our deepest sympathies and thank you for sharing David with us in so many ways. Having David as a friend these many years has been like winning the Powerball Jackpot over and over again. He has touched our lives, each of us, in so many ways and we are all the better for it. He had the capacity to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. We will miss him tremendously and he will always be in our hearts. Love, Michael, Denise, Michael and Paul

Tommy and family - my deepest condolences. David was such a great man. I loved seeing him at the Stockyard and later running into him all over W Roxbury. Always made my day! I had several patients who told me how David ran errands for them and was such a great friend. He will be missed. Love to your family. Pattie O’Brien

So many possible memories to write about but they are all summed up simply by David’s endless will to do for others. Great meals at the Stockyard, zooming around Boston, driving past twenty Chinese restaurants cause he could only take you to the best. David’s outreach to others runs far and wide. So many are changed forever with his departure from earth. We’ve been blessed to have had David touch our lives. We pray that his energy and spirit continues. May he Rest In Peace

I was shocked to hear of David' passing. I knew David from the many meals shared with family and friend at the Stockyard Restaurant. David always made you feel welcome and went out of his way to make sure you were taken care of. He always had a ready smile and a quick story to relate. After the Stockyard went under new ownership I ran into him in Downtown Boston. He only had a few minutes for a quick chat. To his family and friends, I am sorry for your loss. The world is a sadder place.

My deepest sympathy to the Casey family on the loss of David. Knowing David from the early days of working at the Stockyard together and attending UMASS at the same time he was always ready with a smile and hello whenever we bumped into each other. May he rest in peace. Joe Terrio

My condolences to Dougie and the rest of the Casey family. I met David almost forty years ago at Don Bosco, and then had the good fortune of working with him at the Stockyards for a few years during that time. David was one of a kind, with a kindness and energy second none.He ALWAYS had a way of cheering you up, no matter the situation. Although we drifted apart in later years, I was fortunate enough to call him a friend. R.I.P. David
