To the Baxter family, Mary had been a client of mine for over 25 years. There wasn't a time that I didn't look forward to meeting with her and spending time together. She was bright, engaging, principled and honest. Her work as an ombudsperson at the VA seemed to fit her well. Getting people with different viewpoints to come together and find a way to make a situation work. I will miss you Mary. Pleasant travels and I hope your journey was the reward.
