Joe-- You will always be my hero. You epitomized the best of the Greatest Generation at war and later, when you recovered from your wounds, built a loving marriage and family, ran a successful business, and never turned away a veteran in need. Thank you for your service, sacrifice and friendship. Semper Fi, Marine. YFLC (Your Favorite Living Colonel)

Dad, I will forever and always hold you in my heart with Ma. You taught me quite a bit in my lifetime of which I will never forget. Take Ma by the hand and watch over us....your loving daughter Elaine xoxoxoxoxo

My deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. Having lost my own last year, I feel your pain. Times like this bring back so many memories like when your house was my home away from home (all the way across the back yard). The back yard BBQ's and sitting in your kitchen are some of my favorite memories. Your house was where I learned how important the Marines were. I know you all have your memories too and just want you all to know that your Dad and Mom were special to me and I will miss them. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. XOXO

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Drago family. Joe was a true hero. I use to love listening to all his stories he told me. He will be missed. Sincerely, Andrea Venuti
