Joyce you have been my sister-in-law for over 50 years. We have had many happy times as a family, acting crazy, & singing our hearts out. You are a part of me forever & I'm glad you are. You are the most devoted Christian women I have had the pleasure of having as family. You were an inspiration to all of us! I am so glad you are completely well, no illness, pain or suffering. I always said you were a walking miracle!!! You truly were. You never gave up no matter what was thrown at you. I am proud to have had you for my sister & my brother could have NEVER married a better woman than you!! You are always a wonderful mother, grandmother & great grandmother. I love you always!!

This is the Poem that I wrote for Grandma's Eulogy (posting for all friends and family that were not able to attend). Title: In My Rose Garden Of Memories Written By: Meaghan Mitsiopoulos In Memory Of: Joyce P. (Donovan) Choate My Grandma is without a doubt my hero, No matter what, She was always there. And whenever I needed someone to talk to, She was always willing to lend me her ear. All the lessons that she's taught me, Will forever be held near. She left an imprint on my heart, And it will always be there. My Grandma has always shown me true strength, And she's never seized to show me love in great length. Over the years, She has shown me compassion and kindness, And I can truly say that the memories we've shared will forever remain priceless. In my rose garden of memories, I see her standing there. She's so full of grace, And so full of cheer. Behind her there's a place, It's full of wonder and joy. And by the look on her beautiful face, I can tell that she is truly at peace. She was more than just a Grandma, She was one of my best friends. And although I can no longer see her, I will still feel her love until the end.
