Joe was in my Community Health Nursing Course at UMASS-Boston and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. While we never met face to face I had many interactions via email. I did not know he was a police officer and realize how dedicated he must have been to take on nursing school at the same time as working. I am sure having this occur while so far away from home must have it made it that much more difficult. My thoughts are with you.
