I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to the entire Mullins Family. I have been a friend and coworker of Shaun's for about 25 years. We spent several years at Stop & Shop / Ahold working on systems together. Shaun was a quiet man, but also intelligent, funny, helpful, and a good friend to many at Ahold including myself. To the Mullin Family I was devastated to hear of Shaun’s death and want to express my most sincere sympathies to family during this difficult time .Shaun was a highly valuable and respected member of our team and mentor to many junior team members on the Application team at Ahold Delhaize; the effects of his passing are already being felt here by his fellow employees and management. Shaun was a wonderful employee who understood the meaning of the word "team." He was always more focused on the good of the company and the department than on his own benefit working long hours. He made many great contributions to the Application Department and to the Organization and helped it move forward in numerous ways. His work at Ahold Delhaize will not be forgotten. Please accept my sincere condolences. Shaun was a remarkable man. For those of us that had the privilege of calling him "friend" outside of work, we were humbled by his kindness and compassion to everyone around him. Shaun, Although I have many, my most precious memory is as a little girl when you brought me up to your room on the third floor on Christmas Eve to look out the window for Santa. I am pretty sure we saw him! You carried that same love and playfulness onto my children and all your other nieces and nephews and greats for which I am truly grateful. You taught us all so much. Skip, We were friends all our lives starting out with going to the Patrick Linden to Kindergarten together. We shared many great times together and having you as a friend made me a better person. Dear Mullins family, I am a long time co-worker with Shaun at Stop & Shop. He was a very skilled professional and one I worked with on several key projects. I learned new skills from my time spent with him and he was always willing to share his knowledge. What I liked most about Shaun was his friendliness and easy going disposition. I saw your family Facebook postings showing outings with Shaun and I am sure you all felt the same way about him. He will be greatly missed, but I will have fond memories of the time spent with him.
