Jim was such a great person, his dedication to our country and lifelong passion for nursing and caring for others, put him in a special place. He passed doing what he loved, traveling and that brings me some peace. We should all seek, to embrace life as valiantly as Jim did. You will be greatly missed my friend. My heart felt condolences to your family and friends. Godspeed!

Jim was a wonderful guy and a terrific friend. He was proud of his service in the USAF especially the time he spent in Viet Nam. He was a dedicated nurse in the ER at the Brigham for decades. He was on duty that terrible day April 15, 2013 and cared for many who were hurt in the tragedy at the Boston Marathon Finish line. Jim was always cheerful and so very kind. He loved helping others. He was so much fun to be with. I miss him very much. I am blessed that I got to know him through Ethos.
