A great lady whose children have shown just how great she was. Although your hearts are heavy today, may her smile make you smile every day.

It was with great sadness we learned of Brid's passing. One beautiful lady with the biggest "cead mile failte" for all who walked through her door. Will always remember you, your love, your kindness, your friendship and of course your cooking. It is an honour and a pleasure to have known you and may you rest in peace. Love always, Assumpta and the Francis Family xxx

My lovely aunt Brid. I am so sad I did not see you before you passed. I have great childhood memories of your visits with all your lovely children. You always made the whole household laugh and we all put on weight thanks to your amazing cooking. I am sad but what a life you have had. The legacy of the wonderful family that you and Coley raised will ensure that you will live on for generations to come. Ken and I offer our deepest condolences to your extended family. Aunty Brid. A Christmas card, a warm voice on the telephone,a beloved sister of my Father Johnnie McDonagh. When Mum & I came to visit in 1988 we had the most wonderful time with you and Coley. We were made so very welcome, and the food was just unforgettable. You dyed mums hair, and told me off for laughing! We saw eachother a few times over the years & I regret it wasn't more. But I am glad to have known you,Coley & the wonderful family you both created. Sending sincere condolences to the Lydon family from Jackie and Jemma McDonagh. Rest in peace Brid.xxx
