Trooper Thomas L. Clardy, of Hudson, 44, died on Wednesday, March 16th from injuries he sustained in the Line of Duty. He leaves his loving wife, Reisa A. (Freedman) Clardy and their six children, Tyler J. Clardy, Gabryella R. Clardy, Lily B. Clardy, Emma G. Clardy, Eva E. Clardy and Noah J Clardy, all of Hudson and his son Timothy Covington.
Trooper Clardy was born in Roseville, CA, son of William R. Clardy of California and Kathy S. (Sizemore) Of Utah. He was raised in Park City, Utah where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Park City, H.S. He served his Country as a member of the U.S. Army for two years and transferred to the U.S. Marine Corps serving 11 years as a Marine until being honorably discharged in Dec. of 2003. He began his distinguished career as a Massachusetts State Trooper at the Academy in 2004, graduating in 2005. He was currently stationed at the Charlton Barracks and prior to that was stationed in the Sturbridge and Brookfield Barracks. He was a member of the C.A.T. Team out of C-Troop. He was a proud member of the Mormon Church of Latter Day Saints.
Thomas had many interests in his life but his family was his passion. He was known as a dedicated and hard working individual by his peers and truly cherished his years as a State Trooper. He always looked forward to spending time with his children and attending their various activities. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father and his ability to bring a smile to everyone around him through his great sense of humor.
Besides his wife, children and parents, he is survived by his father and mother-in-law, John and Linda Lombardi of East Bridgewater along with his siblings, Michelle, Drake, Billy, and Tammy.
A funeral service and celebration of Trooper Clardy’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Cox Street, Hudson. All who wish to pay their respects to the family may do so on Monday, March 21st from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson.
