My condolences to the Cross family and extended Pirkle family. She was gracious anytime we were around her. I'm guessing that she was named after my Grandmother Mabel Pirkle Williams (pronounced Maybelle) who was a sister to Grover Pirkle. She was loyal to family, and I appreciate that she made the effort to attend my mother's services in 2014. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend her service at Bethel. I'm sure that her life will be remembered fondly by many.
