Growing up and spending time with Evan at Mr. Troy's house, he always treated me like family and was one of the nicest people I ever met. So very sorry for your loss.

So very sorry to hear about Troy. He was a great, kind, Christian man. Every time I saw him he was smiling and I got a hug. He was helpful to anyone that needed him. He will be missed. Billy says there was not a better man than Troy. Love your family. Billy and Geri Phelps.

Lori, Evan, Jeri, and Mrs. Hobbs: Knowing you and your family while spending a few years in Pine Hill subdivision and my school and church years while in Ashburn, I find your family is a huge part of my "good times" memory bank. I love you and grieve for your loss. May God comfort you in the times to come.

Family, Thinking of you all and reminiscing about all the good times that Glynn and I had with Martha and Troy. As the old saying “the good old days”; we experienced it with them. These two Christian people were dependable, accommodating, self sacrificing, helping, sharing, just all around good people. Troy will be missed not only in our church family but in our community. God bless and may your memories of your love one always bring a smile to your face and a warmth to your heart. Psalm 34:18.

Troy was one of my favorite cousins. I could always count on him and Martha to attend our Hobbs Family Reunions and bring great food to share. Troy had a wonderful sense of humor. He would call or write me every year with his note-worthy accomplishments, like his golf scores, his holes in one and the size fish he caught. He called it “tooting his own horn”. I loved him and will really miss him.
