Years ago I along with Lillian, Annie Mae, Vivian and others I can't remember formed a women's basketball team coached by Bobby Youngblood. We played in Cordele for a year. With 3 players around 6ft tall we never lost a game and were not invited back for a second year. Good memories.

Dear Youngblood family, Ms Lillian was a very special friend for me. We shared a loving for cooking, gardening ,a cup of coffee many mornings and above all a love for Harmony Church. She and I shared mid morning and evening phone calls when as she put it best “ can we just talk”. Our talks were about her family and especially her Bobby. She will be missed but Never Forgotten. Love Gloria.

Family, So sorry to hear of the passing of your love one. She was a such a hard working lady who loved doing for others. Whenever she heard of a neighbor or a friend being sick, or there was a death, she would prepare food to take to them. She was a great cook and everyone remembers her delicious cakes. She and Bobby loved sports and I played on a softball team they sponsored and coached. I will remember these good times that we enjoyed together. She and I worked in Coverdale during the harvesting of peanuts. She kept all of us “ in stitches” with her true stories. I will miss her wit and her caring spirit. You are in my thoughts and prayers. John 11:25-26.

Youngblood family, Our family loved and adored Ms Lillian. The memories she has left with us will forever be cherished, as we look back at the Limousin events Ms Lillian always enjoyed with us, we realized our time was short and we will always relish the times we had with her and Mr. Youngblood.

Lynn and Lori I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Aunt Lillian was such a strong woman always surprising us with how she overcame one thing after another. But I hope you find some comfort in that she no longer is hurting but is celebrating in heaven with her Bobby and her Lisa. I will remember her amazing strength, love for her family and her church, her sense of independence, and her great cooking skills. And I will miss her. Much love, Paula

Oh my, so many fond memories of such a special lady & her family. I went to school & played softball & basketball with her daughters Lori & Lisa. The whole family was always involved in some sort of sports activity. I remember that basketball team Jeanette talked about. I do believe those same ladies played on a softball team together that Bobby also coached. I also remember the special friendship her & Mama (Annie Mae) had. Mama delivered their mail. Either Bobby or Lilian would meet her at the mailbox with something they had cooked. (cookies, cake, pies, homemade soup) You name it. We never went hungry. A lot of problems got solved and some interesting conversations & special talks went on at that mailbox. Lilian had that magnetic personality that made you comfortable enough to talk to her about anything. I can see them now gathered at that special mailbox in heaven.
