I am really sorry to hear of Pat’s passing....she was our next door neighbor on Gordon St. and my mother’s best friend for life. They used to watch their “stories” together most every afternoon when I was a kid. She was sweet and generous to me as a child and I always enjoyed a visit with her when I would come to Ashburn to visit my parents. She had a way of saying, “well, Robbie” in her sweet southern drawl that I can still hear.
