I am so sorry to hear Mr. Saylor had passed away. He was such a sweet man. I have loved him since I was a little girl in North Carolina. He always called me Jolene. I will miss him. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Family, l was sorry to hear of the passing of your love one. I remember my husband, Glynn, talking about the fun that Curtis and the other boys who grew up in the Clement’s Chapel neighborhood had. There were the Saylors, the Cooks, the Shepherds, the Rodgers, and others who grew up together and attended school at Sycamore. Us “older folks” as we are referred too say that those days were the “ good old days”. May our Lord and Savior surround you with His loving arms in the coming days. John 3:16-17.

Very saddened by Mr Saylor’s passing. Consider knowing him and his family a great blessing. He was a very influential figure in my life. Seldom think of him without a laugh or a smile. One of those people that become a part of your life that you never forget. Vaya con Dios Mr Saylor.

Phyllis, Don, and Donna, Words cannot express the sadness my family felt when we heard the news of Uncle Curtis passing. I have so so many memories of him, my daddy, and Uncle Dean, fishing, hunting, saining ponds, golfing and just so many adventures. ( I do mean adventures) My 15 yr old son had the opportunity to meet him over the past 4-5 years when he would let us fish from time to time. Colton attached to him immediately and loved going to the farm to see him. To all of you along with Uncle Dean and Aunt Faye, Aunt Melba and Tom, Uncle Leroy and Yvonne, Uncle Merle and Ann Please accept our condolences and may prayers be with you and your family at this time. We Love Ya'll! Robbie, Kimbelry and Colton

Donna, Don, Phyllis and all of the family: Curtis was always such a joy to be around. Even though he couldn't hear the best, he learned to adapt, and could converse with most anyone as long as he could see your lips. He was so generous to friends with his prized fishing ponds, which he took such good care of, as long as you didn't take advantage. I remember someone asking to fish in his ponds once and then literally loading the back of their truck with fish. He was so mad! He was a good friend to have. He'll be missed. Love and prayers to you all.
