So sorry to read this. Dogs are family, and I know how heartbroken you all must be. May the sweet and funny memories of Stump bring a smile to your faces when you feel like crying. God bless y'all! ???

Barbara Ann, I’m so sorry to hear that Stump has left you after all these years. He was a good and faithful companion for you after Charles passed. I know that you will miss him very much. A pet becomes a vital part of a families life and even becomes almost human. You and Charles were blessed by his presence all these many years. You have great memories to fill your many days ahead. Will be thinking of you and remembering you in my prayers.

I never met Stump but knew he was well loved by his family. The picture here looks like it could be our PeeWee from years ago.

"The love of a pet is immeasurable" could not have been better stated. Even though we did not know Stump we pray for his family and hope the pain in their heart eases a little knowing that he has gone to the best place, because we truly believe there is a doggy and kitty heaven.

I will miss seeing your sweet face Stump with your nose poking through our shared fence. I'll miss scratching your head and your slobber on my hand. Koda will miss rubbing noses and saying Hi. They say all dogs go to Heaven and you were extra special, so I know that's where your at until then I'll see you on the other side. Lots of love for you.

My Dear Barbara: Thinking of you this AM & your Stump came to my mind...As I grew up & lived in the "woods", so to speak, we children had "Snooky" who roamed into wooded area & wild dogs finally got her. Then there was Fido, who no one could touch but our Daddy!!!Fido died from old-age..needless to say, we feared wild dogs so our love for dogs was a problem however we did get a German Shepherd & he stayed near the back door & lived a good while. Just think-ing about you & Stump. Lovingly, Shirley Brock
