So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed seeing and talking with Dot. She was a kind and caring woman who always had time to stop and speak to you. Audrey, Debbie, Martin, Jim, and LeAnn, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. I know the crisis that our nation is in has put a damper on celebrating the life she lived and the legacy she leaves. That however does not take away from the significance of her life and the loss you are experiencing. How comforting to know we will see her soon. Please know we are covering you all in prayer during this time. We love you all and are here if you need us. <3

Mrs. Dot was one of the sweetest and kindness woman I know. I loved working with her at Carrolls. She never met a stranger and was always kind to everyone she met. The tea cakes she made were so delicious. She enjoyed making them for the public and they loved them. Mrs. Dot will be missed.

To the family, she was such a sweet lady, she will be missed terribly. I remember her so well when I first started banking as a young adult. She was always so nice and friendly at that drive thru window. Love and prayers for all of you.

Family, What a fine Christian lady! Dot was always about others! She had a special way about herself. That special thing was her love for Christ Jesus. Her walk matched her talk! First Baptist goes out to the home on Sunday mornings to hold Sunday School and Dot was a faithful attender. Sometimes you could tell that she didn’t feel like being there, but she still wanted to hear the Word taught and to sing the great old hymns of our childhoods. We will miss her sweet, sweet spirit , but are rejoicing that she is now in her heavenly home receiving her just rewards. 2 Chronicle 16:9 is a beautiful scripture that speaks of just how much our Heavenly Father loves those whose hearts are turned toward Him. Take time to look up this scripture and claim this promise today. You are in my thought and prayers.

Jim, Leann and Debbie. . . I'm so sorry to learn of Dot's passing. She was such a fine woman, not only as wife and mother but also as a member of the community and our high school class. Dot's interest in our classmates helped to keep many of us in touch with reunions. She was always ready with a smile and a greeting when last I saw her. My sincere condolences.
