Family, i was sorry to hear of the passing of my fellow classmate. She was such a fun and loveable person. Shirley and I attended school together starting in Sycamore and graduateing from Turner County High School. She had such a way of keeping up your spirits and making you laugh. She will be missed but not forgotten by those of us who loved her. God bless you and may you find peace in the coming days. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Theresa, Tony, all of the Whiddons clan and families, my heart is breaking for all of you. Shirley will always be remembered as a strong, smart, loving, independent woman who would do anything for her family and friends. We were all so blessed to have her in our lives. I'm sure Lamar was waiting at the gates to help lead her to her heavenly home.

I know it's been over 3 years since you've left us, but often times I think of you,us working together at the bank, and our laughs. I often burst out laughing when I tell people you said "I don't eat to live". "I live to eat". I'd never forget that, and your bubbly spirit. Rest on Shirley.
