Mrs. Pate taught my mother Home Economics at Sycamore High School. She taught me Biology in !965-66. I adored her, loved her classes and was her student aide for two years. She not only taught me Biology but she taught me self-respect, dignity, fairness and honesty. Mrs. Pate was one of The Best of The Best. May she now rest in eternal peace. I Love You Mrs. Pate!!!!

One on my favorite teachers ever and a great friend for years. Did not see her much in the past few years but thought of her often. Mrs. Pate was a very special person.

Dear Susan and family. . . What a lovely woman your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother was and how lucky you have been to have her with you for so long. She touched so many lives with her expertise in education and her gracious attention to her students, colleagues, and friends. "Miss" Frances always had a kind word and a sweet smile, a beautiful legacy for all of us.

Susan and family, Though I did not get to know Ms.Frances, all of my life I have heard her name from family and what a great woman and teacher she was in Turner County. My mom speaks highly of her and said she taught half of Turner County Biology. She would be so proud of her great grand children that I have so enjoyed getting to know. Prayers are with your family as you reflect on the many lives that she touched in 100 years.

Susan and Family, What a beautiful person your love one was! She taught me in school and was one of those "special" teachers one never forgets. After I graduated, I continued to stay in touch with her. Every class reunion that our class had, Mrs. Pate was one of the very first teachers that was contacted about attending. Everyone who knew her, loved her.lt was hard to see her toward the last because she did not recognize me. I attended her one hundredth birthday reception and she looked so beautiful just as she always did. She was a wonderful Christian lady who lived a life which exemplified her faith. What a legacy she has left not only for family but for all who knew her!

What a blessing Mrs. Pate was to me. She took ugh out my school years to help tutor me when I was struggling. She always had a yummy treat ready for me when I walked to her house. She made the best roasted peanuts/pecans. She mentored me and my brothers through out our years at Amboy. Always a warm smile and welcoming hug. Heaven gained a jewel. I pray for comfort for your family. Thank you for sharing your mama with us.
